Just Yesterday

time goes by too fast. wasn't it just yesterday.....?

The baby arrived!
Just yesterday!
She came so early;
For her life we prayed!

Our baby came home!
Just yesterday!
I watched her intently
So sure she wouldn't stay.

The little one walked!
Just yesterday!
She teetered and she tottered
Then she toddled away.

Off to school she went!
Just yesterday!
I walked her to the bus,
She went on her way!

She graduated!
Just yesterday!
Really is amazing,
Didn't she just learn to play?

A little girl was born!
Just yesterday!
She looks just like my daughter did
in every single way.

As I held her little hand
I wiped a tear away.
Where has all the time gone?
Wasn't it just yesterday?
