Internal Monologue of a Madman

How many times has this happened to you? Not based on a true story!

Here I sit and there as well.
Here I am in this . . . This Hell.

"Hello?"

My eyes gaze over here and there.
They see that table, book, and chair.

"Is there anybody in there?"

I feel, I KNOW, I must be free
For all to hear! For all to see!

"Housekeeping! Hello!"

I hear someone, this I swear!
There is someone over there!

"Hello! I'm coming in!"

I must run, hide, or flee!
The Devil! The Devil has come for me!

"I coulda' sworn I heard someone in there. Housekeeping! I'm coming in!"

Flee from me, spawn of Hell
Back to that eternal well!

"Oh! I didn't think that anyone . . . Ahh! Put on some pants!"

Now I see it! It is true!
The clouds are white! The sky is blue!

"Police! Police! There's a naked pervert trying to molest me!"

This is it! I am free!
For all to hear! For all to see!
