Easter is a special day for children
who look forward to finding just where
the Easter bunny hides the treasures
and they handle each egg with care.

Easter is a special day for the parents
as they prepare a dinner all can share,
and the family gathers round the table,
giving thanks for the food with a prayer.

Easter is a special day for grandmas,
as they don their choir robes and sing
of all the glory of an Easter morning,
and the blessings our Savior can bring.

Yes, Easter bunnies and choir robes
are all a part of this very special day,
when peace and love fill the spring air
and our families can all play and pray.
