as I lay here with my eyes closed
I can still smell your sent and feel you touch
your words still linger in my mind
"I love you..."
I'll just lay here for as long as I can now
as long as I can, I wont open my eyes
picturing your beautiful face, your lovely soul
if I open my eyes I'll see you're really gone
it's only for a little while, I know
but I didn't know missing you would hurt so much
I can only try not to cry, but it's hard
when I think back to my childhood
I think of all the pains
all the mental trips and bloody lips
it was all just a bad day
