Cathartic poem about understanding/overcoming inner fears. (first draft)
Of Fears (Introduction)

All my fears terrorize me,
Paralyze me,
And mock my
Soulful glimmers.

They loose no time to
Hide me,
Bind me, in a state of endless cycles.

But I will gather them together,
All these things that
Haunt me so.

I will gather them together,
And I will be left holding them alone.

Each I will explore
Like treasure pearls from a mystic sea.
And within each
I hope to find the wiser part of me.

When it grows difficult
To remember
That all moments are alive,
Perhaps there will be
A spirit in me
That’ll wake me up inside.

All through enchanted slumber
Like an ancient beauty sleeps my soul
I am one with the power to wake my thunder
I am beneath, above, one whole.

Alternate version, original rhyme

All through enchanted slumber
Like an ancient beauty sleeps my soul.
I am one with the power to wake me,
I am beneath, above, one whole.
