As I wait, and wait...
Legs shake
Beneath me
Hands tremble
On my face
Butterflies flutter
In my stomach
Sweat drips
Off my nose
Thoughts race
In my mind
Eyes wander
Around the room
Mouth breathes
Short gasps of air
Nose bleeds
Onto my clothes
Ears listen
For any sound
Fingers drum
On my knees
Rain knocks
On my window
Trees sway
With a slight breeze
Time stands still
As I wait, and wait...
