You ever have one of those days... yeah, me too.

An Unanswered Question

Why do you try to break me?
Until I know I’ll stay here waiting
For someone I know to come and get me
Then I’ll be ready for the taking

Why did twisted men bring me here?
Locked away my reason
Forsaked in my fear
Watching each passing season

Why do I destroy myself so?
The gun rests so peacefully pointed at my head
Pulled back the trigger and watched it go
Split seconds later and I’m dead.
