Hope

This is a poem based on something that is happening in my life.

Hope
Is there hope for you and I?
We fought each other,
but we never won.
We were too blind to
see the damage we caused.
My heart aches,
knowing I hurt you.

I hope we can still
be friends.
You hope I won't
be mad at you.
We hope we can stop
fighting each other.

I hope there will be
no more sandess.
You hope there will be
peace and harmony.
We hope we can
reach the stars and
touch the moon.

I hope I can be
a better person.
You hope something
new would come our way.
We hope we can
turn our dreams into reality.
