numb

the hollow within

i feel dead
but yet i am not

the morning still comes
lifes clock beats steady

yet inside i'm frozen
held numb in time

life with no meaning
so why won't it end

heart keeps on beating
drumming its emptiness

lungs fill with air
guilt poisioning every breath

eyes look for your face
tears remind me your gone

mind full of thoughts
no hope to be found

until my time here ends
