Many a times, when things don’t work out,
The way you want the most,
The only thing you feel like is crying your heart out,
In front of a person you love the most

For he is the one who will lend you a shoulder,
Without giving you a cold shoulder,
As he has traveled a long journey for miles,
To reach the destination of your friendship, but still smiles,

For patience is a virtue, in such a time,
And the one who possess this, is a true friend of all times,
Thus friendship is a precious gift,
And this should always be treasured amidst,

So dearest friend, please don’t take me wrong,
For I am not so strong,
To bear the hardships of life,
Without you, my life!

Alas! My friend,

Before its time for me
To go and say good bye to you with cries a lot!
