a short poem about time
Lost opportunities

Another minute
gone

time flies he said
Running

I shall see you another time she said
tomorrow

they talk on the phone

but he knows,

That he exists only today,
this minute this second

later ?

he is not sure
is there a next time
is there a next
minute
another second?

I have time
Do we have time?
We should have time
Maybe tomorrow

Call again

In fact they have not even met yet.

Maybe tomorrow?

We could have done this or that.
So what. We didn’t.

Another day, maybe
Another life.
