It saddens me to say......

I wrote this one when my boyfriend and I broke up.

It saddens me to say.But I need to breathe free for at least one day.
I go to a school of fakes, As I live a life that I can't take.
With a family from Hell, And no soft landing as I fell.
My friends say that they care, But I doubt they really know.
What's hidden deep in my eyes, behind so many lies.
If only they knew that everything I say is untrue.
And that every move I make is as fake as every step I take.
I try to breathe simply for you.
But now that I've lost you,
I don't know what to do.
