AMAZED

I am amazed by the way she has made me realise
that there can be such more to my life
than just what I had known once before
and that there is a way to make it real

I am amazed by the way she talks to me
as if we have known eachother for so long
her willingness to trust another is a sign
of just how open and kind she is

I am amazed by the way she smiles
when the light hits the room
all that was dark becomes bright once again
and all that was sad becomes a new beginning

I am amazed by the way she thinks
even though things may not be great in life
there is still light at the end of her tunnel
that life will find a way and shine through on her

I am amazed by the way she feels towards others
as though total strangers can become friends
and though she has so much on her palate
there is still time to care about other people
