Poems are not my forte, but this one is by far one of my favorite writings.

after the ranks have been shattered
after the world has been lost
after all has been broken that mattered
after the last line has been crossed

after notions of honor have crumbled
after the battle song's last refrains
after even the mountains have tumbled
after Forever is all that remains
