Is the police force truly here to protect and serve? I wonder.
Here they come; they're at the door again.
No need to run; no need to pretend.
And they're havin' fun; comin' here to offend.
Quick to pull their gun; others quick to commend.

It's not protect and serve; the publics mind they curb.
Disrespect given, but not deserved.
It's our peace that gets disturbed.

They flash their lights; just got out' the way.
Thinkin' they're so bright; they only lead astray.
Cops have no insight; they're chasin' dreams away.
What brings them delight? Lives torn and frayed.

Who's there to help the ones in need,
Or to stop the one's who are filled with greed?
Instead they pick you up, and they just watch you bleed.
They just take the states money; precincts grow like weeds.

Because their tempers are short, they have the right to club?
They just file their report, and take you off to their hub.
With no chance to retort, they try and force you to budge.
Then they take you to court, who has the right to judge?
