                   Wordless Whispers

Walk with care along the trail to twilight’s cerulean maw,
Others having paved the way, all leaving their marks on the path;
Racing onward ever faster, compelled by the breath of chi,
Driven by the need to uncover life’s untold mysteries,
Leap and dance in company of fecund limbs gilded with sap,
Elixir for the passersby, as each his own journey wrote,
Sound the tuneless aria as you reach where near meets far.
Sibilant cacophony suffuses life’s final caress.
