about the true meaning of beauty

You told me I was beautiful
It meant the world to me
But when I looked in the mirror
I didn't see beauty looking back at me
I asked you why you thought that
And asked you if you lied
I guess I didn't look close enough
Because now I realize the real beauty is inside
