Like the tree, growing closer through faith that each tomorrow will come.

Cling fast; hold hard.
Anchored, you last and believe;
the truth revealed in one star.
But, it's too far to get there from here.

Still stretching, grasping,
holding firm to terra,
you last and conceive,
the fading truth is concealed,
separates from where we are.

Rest comes for the weary,
dreaming amid the stars.
Rooted deep in your rock,
you last and retrieve;
the truth is revealed.

A new dawn,
returning, nearing,
is still burning with love.
Believing in earth's promise,
you soar closer to Him above.
