Omit

A poem I wrote.

ashes to ashes
flames in the night
elegant dances
between the dark and the light

the romance of the sun and the moon
and the guidance of the stars
all of it ends way too soon
all of it seems way too far

don't let the daylight come
on the heels of the night
don't let the moon end it's fun
don't let the flames lose their light

in time, the soul will always mend
just don't ever let this night end.
