Little bird in my window
watching the sun rest the day
take all my memories with you
when you fly away

Little bird in my window
the one with the troubled eyes
the one who could see my truth
and hide me from my lies

Little bird in my window
your feathers ever so fair
spread your winds and fly away
you'll make it home I swear

just keep me in your mind
and I'll keep you from harms way
little bird, little bird
fly away today
