Too Late

In a world of lonely people
From a void that is so hollow
My mind, it seems to wander
My heart, it soon will follow.
The days I spend inside myself
The nights are so alone
My spirit yearns to feel again
The light is almost gone.
Once again, to start anew
I'll leave this pit behind
To find the height of my ascent
From deep within my mind.
So on this day
To find my way
I leave with you my lonely state
In search of myself, or is it too late.
