I am with the shadows who are one with me and the stains I bear.

Another day passes by, staining me beyond light's warmth.
I seek the shadows, desperate for comfort and friendship.
They kindly bless me with what I crave, gaining what I willingly give,
~My tainted soul.
My blood thins with their cold touch.
~My heart slows.
In happiness I smile, I see beauty in the shadows,
The others who have stains scaring their empty souls.
Loving me for my stained soul; stained beyond light's warmth.
Forever I will be one within these shadows.

I welcome the shadows clouding my stains.
And the small times we spend together, I am free.
