Perception through Reflection
Mirrors of glass winking a taunt
Reflections of need, changing to want
Chaos and tension arise to unite
Calmed at last under cover of night

Cloaked in shadows of emotions raw
Balanced exposure through need to withdraw
Finding control through penning a page
Despite the battle of wills engaged

Perception sharpens my mind's eye
Encouraged by two separate gemini
Realized, my tendency to lose control
Causes more conflict, taking its toll

Reflecting on words spoken with care
Perception altered while unaware
Regaining balance in give and take
The knowledge alone, a priceless keepsake
