Getting inspiration to write from music.

Music has enticed the listener,
Capturing the muse in a trance.
Revealed flowing imagery;
A scene by scene
Silent array of
Portraits and costumes,
landscapes and cultural dreams.
Details emerge
With the lure of every pitch.
With Increased Imagination,
Your mind to enrich.
Gather a pen,
A pencil.
Gather any scrap of paper to write,
Though it all may be
Cast down
Through such a troublesome plight.
Write,
Do not think.
Let the image in your head
Unfold.
Write,
And the words will not withhold.
For the music may end,
And all will be forgotten.
Then,
In the silence you will have to write.
