God Bends Down To Listen

God bends down to listen to our needs.

He is a caring Father up above.

Sometimes we think rewards were based on deeds,

Instead he gives us blessings based on love.

Our Father knows exactly how we feel.

It's true sometimes we feel we should have more;

He also knows you think your needs are real.

Through self sufficiency our spirits soar.

He watches while the thief comes in the night,

But knows we all must learn from what we do.

They try to steal the goodness of your light.

His blessings are the force that gets you through.

It matters not that life be good or fair.

As long as you receive his watchful care.
