this is a poem i wrote about the hurt caused by the one i love.

You bring tears to my weeping eyes
Yet, my heart yearns you
Trying to fight the never-ending urge
To love you so much it hurts

I felt so much wrapped in your arms
The smiles you couldn’t force away
Now, grasping for any emotion
Keeping me in wonderment

Wanting what used to be
Afraid of the unforeseen future
Longing to have your heart
The heart you took away
