The Mask

hide yourself or be yourself

Wear your mask,
and wear it true
until that mask
becomes you
it may hurt, but change
all that you are
until your problems have
gone away far
do this and you will see
you will see
unhappiness, and the longing
to be free
free from fiction, and
all that's unreal
until wounds cover your body
and never seem to heal
There's a thin line between
real and fake, and you will
have to decide for youself
which road you take.
