BLEEDING HEART

Help free me from the heartache

A bleeding heart cries out tonight,
pleads with anyone to help me fight
feelings of depression, loneliness, and woe,
and to help me forget what’s hurting me so.

This bleeding heart needs someone
to alleviate the pain that’s never gone.
It hurts so bad, the hurting real,
until sadness is all that I now feel.

A bleeding heart screams out to you,
to obliterate the misery it’s going through.
“Please help me before I fall apart”,
words issued by my bleeding heart.
