Introduction: Beauty is a quality of a person, object, place, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, affirmation, meaning, or goodness. The subjective experience of beauty often involves the interpretation of some entity as being in balance and harmony with nature. This leads to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being.
In America where 455,489 liposuctions and 364,610 breast augmentations were done in 2004 and 2005, people are growing more consumed with beauty and its counterparts. For centuries the conception of beauty has constantly changing. We are conducting this survey to gain insight on whether the perception of beauty has changed again .
Subjects: The survey was administered to people with ages from16- 20. We surveyed people of various ethnicities and social backgrounds as well as classes.
