Let Us (Working Title)

A poem I just quickly wrote. Please Review.

As the music plays
And the stars shine down on us
As we dance slowly
Arms around each other
Let us not think
On how little time we have
Let us not think
On what will become of us once time has passed
Let us follow our hearts
Let us love for a moment
With arms around each other
Let us dance slowly
As the stars shine down on us
And the music plays.



My first real attempt at poetry. Poetry is not my element, but I occasionally come up with something that's at least passable as poetry. I actually liked this one so I was willing to post it. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
