This is a poem about a beautiful lonely girl, abandon and misunderstood by the world
THE FILE

They took me in,
Beneath the cover of darkness.
They took my shoe laces,
They took my belt,
But not the feelings that I felt.
Men and women in white coats,
Asking questions,
Why I couldn't cope.
Answers given in text book style,
My life neatly placed into a file.
They said to me,
Do you need a pill to sleep?
No, I said,
For in my dreams I have no feet,
So how can I run,
From the demons that will come “
Placed among the other outcast,
Among those I didn't know.
There were the souls,
That the world cared not to know
At night I heard children crying.
Aimlessly wondering the corridors,
Locked behind doors of adult's minds.
I wondered what they did
Like me
To loved no more.
