Another spiritual song I wrote. Needs work, I know.. But thought I would share...

Verse 1: Built my castles on the sand
Real close to the shore
Set my pedestal up so high, I couldnt see the floor
I searched and I followed,
Every road I found,
Looking for a way home,
But never gaining ground

Chorus:
So I lifted my eyes t'ward heaven
Looking for the right words to say,
I asked the Lord to forgive me,
And help me along my way

Verse 2:
Now each morning when I rise
I thank the Lord above
For His grace and mercy
and never ending love,
Now he leads and guides me,
and helps me not to stray.
All because I went down,
on my knees and prayed.

Chorus 2:
Cause I lifted my eyes t'ward heaven,
and found the right words to say
Jesus reached down,
now his spirit guides my way.
