Memories of a forgotten past
Yesterdays that move by fast

Secrets shared with friends I know
Never to tell nor will ever show

Torture caused by a life of pain
Though happiness I one day gain

Love is poured in and enormous dose
Heart is given to someone close

Longing of a day long gone by
Wondering if again I will soar and fly

Fighting a battle that lay deep inside
Haunted by ghosts who run and hide

Searching for truths hard to find
Hoping to fix a once glorious bind

For a special person, feelings will always shine
All of these things are forever mine
