itch
to dance
familiarly over the keys

my mind
lovingly
caresses
each word in anticipation

my heart
overflows
with a flood
of raw emotion

my soul
catches
each expression
that escapes

and I
carefully piece together
all the broken fragments
with the glue of
inspiration
