The Devils Sin

She walks to death through life's long path
Losing her soul to my unholy wrath
She died in my arms in loving grace
My vengeance will come in a slow and steady pace

What heavenly power would commit such a sin
Through chaos and death my wrath will begin
Her blood spreads color across the floor
The body was desecrated into a bloody gore

Why was this done, who do I blame
Their soul, their being I will set to the flame
Her body I hold close but another is hidden
Our love was always said to be forbidden

My life I would have taken for my wife
what power saw it sacred to end her life
Those Demons and that lying false god
I will kill the one who betrayed me with my golden rod

In the end their souls will be mine
It is all just a matter of time
