Crow descends to Eden for mischief making |
Crow’s First Crime Crow wanted What he could not have. But being greedy He tried to take it anyway. Without thinking of What consequences could occur, Thoughtless, He executed his nefarious plan. Swooping down from on high, He landed in Eden, Upon the Tree of life, He pecked at the fruit and became un-killable. Being hungry still - He hopped Over to the boughs of the other Forbidden Tree. He pecked at the fruit, The last in its boughs But misjudging The fruit fell to the earth. The serpent watching, Darted forth and snatched it Before it could bounce off the ground. He slithered away to tempt Eve. God descended to his creation. Looking at Crow - He winked. “You have done good.” He said. “I am well pleased with you.” Crow indignant, Could not believe his ears. Embarrassed, feeling used and abused He flew away, never looking back. |
