This poem is about trust. |
| I see that you trust comes with a price a price I thought I paid I thought I had it all; paid in full but I guess the payments were never made I thought I had your concent to have freedom and have a life of my own but when you took your trust away I saw that I was wrong In my eyes my actions were innocent nothing was bad about it In your eyes you saw a crime that deserved some punishment You accused me of things that never crossed my mind I told you the truth you said it was a lie I shed tears over this not because of what I did not because of the punishment not because of any guilt (and I don't have any) I cried because you took your trust for no reason that I can see apparently you took it before I had it Now I will take the the trust from you that you took from me |
