That day I let my mind wonder... Thoughts of how things are.
The pink sunset
Kisses the sky.
That day I let
My mind wonder why.

Why things are,
Why they were.
Sometimes things seem so far,
Though no one can see for sure.

Why can't we just know,
Why can't we just see,
Who is friend, who is foe?
It could be you or me.

That day I let my mind wonder.
I let it flee.
As the pink sunset turns to dark thunder,
I wonder, why me?
