An Acrostic Poem for my beautiful Grand-daughter, Jessica Kate.

Jessica Kate

Joyful news as she is born,
Essence of the Summer morn.
Softest skin and eyes of green,
Sweetest girl you've ever seen.
Innocent as budding rose,
Cute and pink from nose to toes!
Apple of her Daddy's eye.

Kicking legs and smiling face,
Arms to hold in warm embrace.
Thanks for life that's just begun,
Ever-loving little one!
