flared to high,
boiled over--


Ripe with sense of achievement
never-the-less:
it is time to render.

Notepad chopping block,
red pen knife
slices and dices.

Chop tenses, grate ideas,
Toss words, peel paragraphs,
Sprinkle descriptive seasonings to taste,
trim rough edges, find the core.

Set to rise,
to bake, and cool:
Place on the plate
with style and garnish.
Serve immediately.
