Smile into the Eyes of Jesus


See this smile on my face? He put it there! Yep. Him. My Father in Heaven gave me this beaming smile. He told me that I am going to live with Him by my side from Glory to Glory for Eternity. That's a mighty long time to have your face stretched upward. Why is it stretched UPWARD? That's simple. It's reaching toward Him, who gives me life, love, and happiness. In fact, even if there are trials in my life, I can still smile knowing that He is with me, holding me close to His heart, and walking me through my difficulties. Even if I falter, He corrects me with the utmost love and care, and for the good of my own growth. He wants to see me by His side when my soul leaves this worldly life, and enters the realm of Eternity. Ah, Eternity, and all it's splendor. My vision of Heaven's gates opening wide to allow my entrance gives me encouragement and hope. I am encouraged to do as Jesus did as a human on this earth; to witness to unbelievers, to care for the widows and orphans, and to pray for those I cannot help. I have hope knowing I will meet Jesus face to face one day, and will be able to smile into His eyes. Right now, I can only imagine the knowledge I will gain just from that gaze into the all-knowing face of Jesus. But that day will come, and I am blessed to have faith and acceptance of Jesus' love. (By the way, I'm still smiling.)
