River of Life

Relating to nature, i wrote this poem as a project for school but i think it's much more

River of Life

The river travels gracefully through the trees
And keeps on progressing.
Hidden in the dense forest
I’m the only one who knows it’s there.
As I watch I see my own life
Moving and changing all the time.
It never stops
Just goes with the flow
And remains quiet and soft.
Like me it has a path
Never leaving it for a second.
How I wish my life was a river
Soft and quiet and simple.
Maybe then
There wouldn’t be so much around the bend.
