a poem for my fiancee..

You are my counter part,
You are my other half.
You were there from the start,
And I’m thankful it’s you I have.
Granted that there are no guarantees,
And It’s always been said that nothing in life is free.
For you I would cross the seven seas,
And I hope you would agree.
Nobody in this world could ever take you away,
Although they’ll try and wont succeed.
I get to come home to you every day,
Your filled with so much love and so little greed.
Soon we’ll walk down the isle and make it official,
I pray every night and thank God I didn’t miss you.
You will always be the drink that wets my whistle,
And for the rest of my life I will always only love you.
