This was written to my ex. She broke my heart, but I would still go through hell for her.

If I am your angel in disguise let me join you in your hell,
I will walk through the pain and torture that you feel.
Letting you go on this alone is torture to myself.
I could lift you away from all of this pain.
Attempt a way to make you feel whole again.


A wasted task as though it may be,
I will never leave your side,
I am yours for life eternal.
Your pain will never tear us apart,
Merely you away from yourself


I will exercise this demon in your soul,
And save you from the pain you have always known.
If it means to sacrifice myself then it shall be done,
This is a battle that we must have won.
Your worth more to me than you could ever see.


When the demon grabs your hand, and leads you astray
Just call my name, and I will take you away
Upon my spread black wings, high into the sky
Away from this hell back to living your life
My job now complete, I go on as well…
