Solar streams of light
Shadows dancing
         on summer late afternoons
         and early nights
Sounds of
         frogs croaking
                   crickets
                             katydids
         squirrels chatter
                   doves cooing
                             cows mooing
         and flocks flutter fast

At last
All interrupted with
         lawn mowing
                   boxers barking
                             ball players booing
         and"batter batter batter"
         then basketball beats
         and tunes of ice cream truck treats

Windchimes tinkle on time
         with a wrinkle in the wind
Enjoy the season's entertainers
