I really don't remember writing this one, but found it, signed and all. Thought I'd share.

Shadows of the Night

Nothing seems right.
All is in chaos.
Shadows of the night
Everywhere I look.

Always following,
Always near.
I can never let go
Of the darkness behind me.

Despite the black ahead,
There is always light.
Pure and white,
Enveloping all around.

Brighter days are ahead
While the darker ones stay behind.
Something to look forward to.
Many things to look back on.

Keep looking forward.
Keep moving toward the light.
Just don't forget all the pain it took,
To get to this ending point.
