Is it true that the people who break the law have no chance to change?

The condemned seem to play
Such a thought provoking role
A question of the origins
Of what happens to a soul
When it's corrupted like the others
And the mind breaks down
When the conscience is silent
And will never make a sound
These poor lost souls
Trapped forever in the dark
Where we will always hold them
Because we say, they have no heart
But these men and women
Who have fallen from the path
These people that we always seem hold back
We'll its all in now silver
Paid for in coins
The lord will be their judge
While we push down the thorns
But remember that, its all in the head
These people we see, they're not quite dead
They still have a chance, there's still help in sight
But we as a people, need to show them the light.
