My first poem on this site! |
| Dandilions dance with the wind of spring, Grass in step. The sun smiles sweetly at the earth, and lets out it's breath. It flows down upon the ground, Where a fair maiden lay. Like a warm blanket it's drawn upon her shoulders. She watches the clouds forming and spread like wings and soar across the sky not caring for a thing. Staring out from her bed of daiseies, she dreams of days to come In these days however, she won't be alone. For she'll be in the arms of her beloved, whose chest she leans upon, soaring as free as the clouds never to return home. |
