As I walked down the line
I was in quite the daze
My first moments as MRS
The death of glory days

I shook hand after hand
Gave hugs and kisses too
I was sure I'd feel better
When THIS tradition was through

It was just about over
I'd soon be in the clear
When to my amazement
I saw YOU were here

My veil got real heavy
My breathing got fast
I wasn't sure I'd make it
With this blast from my past

My hubbies all smiles
He shakes hands till he's blue
But all I can think of
