The Light

I wrote this for my husband for our 7th Anniversery, this year we Celebrate our 29th.

The light shines into my Soul,
A light that makes me whole.

The light makes my heart skip a beat,
And can touch me and make me weep.

The light can send me soaring,
After the day has been dull and boring.

For the light I will stay,
By your side forever and a day.

The light is where I hide,
From the cruel world outside.

The light, if you have not yet realized,
Is the Light of Love that shines from your eyes.
